My post from this morning contains a poll. Filling it out would greatly help me determine whether to post once or more times a day so you don’t miss anything important.

I started this daily newsletter to do my civic duty and do all I can to keep us all informed amid the veritable anschluss of deeds and misdeeds by the Trump administration.

How does my daily post work?

I get up rather early, at 3:00 am, which is when media organizations back East begin to push out their news articles. I start my curation post at that hour. By about 4:00 am each morning, there is usually enough material to publish my post.

From that point on, I add to the post I pushed out at 4:00 am until the end of my day. Most of the time, I make additions several times an hour, in bursts. I post to Substack and Bluesky

My email newsletter only gets sent out once daily, at around 07:00 am PST.

The best way to stay informed is to refresh the page whenever you are ready to read news from my post. Most days, I have been making additions as late as 02:00 am EST. That is how much material pops up all throughout the day and night.
